A village barbeque is being held this weekend to celebrate the re-opening of Cove and Kilcreggan Youth Café.
Everyone is invited this Saturday (May 17) Saturday from 3.30pm to see what’s happening at the centre on Church Road and meet the youth worker who will be running two sessions per week.
And chairperson Susie Will is appealing for volunteers to help with preparations on Thursday and Friday, as well as anyone who can help with football, basketball and tennis equipment.
Launched three years ago, the café closed in July 2013 because of a lack of funding.
Drama and music workshops have been held there, as well as street dancing, a bike project and a range of sports.
