Questions about possible cuts to services can be put to a council leader online next week.
Dick Walsh will answer questions on Argyll and Bute Council’s budget and services in an on-line conversation at 7pm on Thursday January 16.
Members of the public are welcome to submit questions in advance or join the conversation on the night. The web chat is part of the council’s on-going communication and consultation exercise.
Cllr Walsh said: “The next two years will be relatively stable in terms of our financial planning. However we anticipate significantly reduce funding from 2016 onwards.
“I am keen to hear any views, questions or concerns that people have about our budget and services, in the short and longer term.”
For information on how to submit questions in advance or participate, please visit the council’s website at www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/budget
The consultation exercise is based on response methods that have proven most useful to local people in the past, so includes an on-line survey.
There is still time to respond to the survey which will be available until January 24.
