In Helensburgh, bookmakers’ chain Ladbrokes want to open a new shop, installing a fascia and projecting signs at 45 Sinclair Street; the firm’s nearest outlet is currently in Dumbarton.

At the Jeanie Deans unit on Helensburgh’s East King Street NHS Highland wants to install a flue and biomass boiler, as well as fitting 152 dark blue solar panels on the roof

Meanwhile the Ministry of Defence has asked for renewal of permission granted to install pole-mounted cameras on roadside verges at eight locations by the A814  in Rhu, Shandon and Helensburgh and the B872 near Garelochhead.

Details of all the applications are available on the council’s website.
