Who Do You Think You Are star in lunch date

Alistair Moffat, founder of the Britain’s DNA website and a regular contributor to TV’s Who Do You Think You Are, will give a lunchtime talk at Cove Burgh Hall next weekend.

The award-winning writer and journalist will report on the latest in investigating Scotland’s DNA.

Alistair is a former director of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and was also director of programmes at Scottish Television.

He is the founder and director of Borders Book Festival and Lennoxlove Book Festival and Rector of the University of St Andrews.

He has recently launched Britain’s DNA, Scotland’s DNA, Ireland’s DNA and Yorkshire’s DNA and is co-chairman of The Great Tapestry of Scotland and a director of Book Nation.

Doors open at 12 noon on Sunday April 14; the talk will be followed by questions and answers. Admission is £10 including soup and filled roll.
