Cove’s library has reopened today (Saturday October 20) after being closed for several weeks.
Because of refurbishment work at Cove Burgh Hall the library closed on August 29, but it will be open until 3pm today to coincide with the public meeting about wind farm plans.
A notice said: “Please use this occasion to return any books which you have out on extended loan, or to come and browse some new ones.
“New members are, of course, always welcome and we shall be delighted to see many familiar faces too.”
Like the burgh hall itself, the library has been run by the community after Argyll and Bute Council announced its closure as part of budget cuts.
