Extensive roadworks lasting three weeks are planned for the Rosneath Peninsula next month.
Argyll and Bute Council has scheduled the overlay work for the B833 Shore Road to start on October 13, if the current work in Garelochhead is finished on time.
The section on the approach to Clynder is due to take two weeks and be followed by work at Cove, which would finished on October 31 – but a council spokesperson stressed the dates were ‘indicative’.
“These works are part of almost £1m of capital investment in the Helensburgh and Lomond road network,” he added.
“The work will not require road closures; we will be operating a single-file traffic management arrangement.”
£1m on the Helensburgh & Lomond Rd network, they spent £1.5m on a Tiree for 750 residents!
Fair share of our money!
Are those Scottish Water traffic lights still at the Peaton? And are they actually doing anything?
